Bridal Fashion Week in Review: Trend Alert!

I will periodically post my favorite looks on my Facebook account as the week progresseWhats, but I cannot seem to post fast enough and do every dress justice. I plan to spend the next few days dissecting my favorite collections, individual looks and trends from the week.

1. Lace Long Sleeve Wedding Dresses

What some brides use to associate as an old-fashioned, modern (and dare we say matronly *gasp*) look, has swarmed the runway of BFW. Sleeves bring a classic elegance to a wedding dress and when done in lace, gives an alluring 'peek-a-boo' affect. Here are some looks that I really liked.

NYC Fashion Week Spotlight: Angel Rivera 2014 Couture Collection

Feminine and elegant. The gowns of Angel Rivera's 2014 collection remind me of princess perfection.

"I Do" Spotlight! Romona Keveza's Spring 2014 Collection

It feels fitting that I feature Romona Keveza's Spring 2014 Wedding Collection since I discovered her line almost exactly one year ago (Spring 2013 collection).

Romona's couture bridal collection premiered 5 years ago and took everyone by storm with her innovative designs that set bride's hearts pumping. This collection is utterly romantic. Surrounded by an abundance of flowers, perfect lighting and the venue of their dreams, brides in these creations will feel like they are in a dream.

"I Do" Spotlight Elie Saab

I love Elie Saab's bridal collections. She epitomizes the sweet, romantic bride that is very fashion forward. Below is her 2013-2014 Couture collection, not her bridal collection, but some of her pieces are perfect for the winter bride. I love the winter fantasy looks that have the right bit of sparkle for the holiday season and is still appropriate for any engagement afterwards. I can picture a brave bride wearing these looks, who wants something unique for her winter wonderland.
